Farnsworth Engineering

I did some work on the front end of the swing bike. The front end uses 4130 and should be quite strong. I get the 4130 from an aircraft supply shop and it comes with a really nasty oil finish so it takes a bit more cleanup time as compared with True Temper and Nova bicycle tubes. As you can see in these photos I cleaned a few inches a belt sander followed by acetone.
